& Healthcare, was recently elected president of the Miami
chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for
2008-2009. AIA is a nonprofit professional association with
more than 77,000 members, including 14 components, or
chapters, in Florida and roughly 590 members in the Miami
chapter. AIA Miami stresses public awareness and appreciation
of architecture and its related fields. Throughout its 60-year
history, AIA Miami has strived to provide its members with the
services, activities, and knowledge required to maintain
dedicated to high standards in professional practice.
