to Partner

RELEASE -- Miami, Florida, January 31, 2006 - Bermello, Ajamil
& Partners, Inc. proudly announces the promotion of Hector
Valverde, RA to the position of Partner with the firm. Mr.
Valverde joined the firm in 2000, and has over 35 years of
hands-on experience in the fields of architecture and
planning. Since joining B&A, Mr. Valverde has become an
integral part of the firm's most unique projects both
domestically and internationally. Of particular note are Mr.
Valverde's designs for Opera Place and 610 Clematis in West
Palm Beach; and internationally, his work on the The World --
Spa and 100 Villas in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates.
Currently, Mr. Valverde is the Partner in
charge of several significant projects in Dubai. The first,
The World Spa, a part of The World development in Dubai,
United Arab Emirates is a luxurious spa destination for
international clientele located at The World development. The
World project is a land reclamation project that will create
hundreds of private islands off the coast of Dubai. B&A
was commissioned as exclusive architects, engineers and
planners the project because of the firms' international
maritime and planning expertise. The project will be comprised
of more than 300 man-made islands and will provide
opportunities for multi-million residential residences,
commercial development, mixed-use retail spaces and the
appropriate infrastructure to support all its' inhabitants.
Transportation to, from and within The World project will
consist solely of water transportation. A series of boats,
ferries and personal boats will provide movement throughout
the islands, no vehicular traffic will be allowed. Bermello
Ajamil & Partners, Inc. is drafting the projects'
Development Guidelines to compliment the Master Plan designed
by the firm.
Mr. Valverde has practiced a wide variety
of disciplines and designed and managed a variety of building
types and projects. He has also previously owned development
and contracting businesses. Mr. Valverde has a Master of
Architecture from The Catholic University of America (1979),
where he also received his Bachelor's Degree. He is both a
registered architect and a registered General Contractor in
the State of Florida.
